Nikki Cruz

Nikki Cruz started her entertainment career on television as a sophomore in high school. Nikki is an ex-military brat, and her father was stationed in Seoul, South Korea when she was a teenager. She first appeared as a singer and dancer on a hit TV show called "Young Parade" on KBS. When she turned 18, Nikki moved to San Antonio, Texas to attend college. While enrolled in her school's mass communication program, she began working at radio station KSSR, hosting the evening show "San Antonio After Dark." In later years, she became the midday personality for KONO. Since radio did not pay very well, Nikki supplemented her income by modeling for companies such as Lee Jeans, Jindo Fur, and Miller Beer. Nikki was featured in several national commercials and calendars to include "Radio Girls" in 1998 and "Tantalizing Takeoffs" in 1999.

Nikki moved to Tampa in 1999 and became the traffic reporter for WFLA TV, News Channel 8. She also worked for WMOR, More TV 32 as the host of "Chick Flicks." Her long list of radio station gigs in Tampa include WWRM, WSSR, WMTX, and WSJT.

Nikki Cruz joined Q105's "Mason and Bill" morning show in November, 2007. Her news and weather updates can be heard weekday mornings from 5:30 am to 10 am.

Nikki has a Bachelor's degree in psychology, and is currently attending graduate school for her Master's degree in mental health counseling, with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. Nikki says her heart belongs to radio; however, her brain belongs in school. She plans to obtain a Doctorate's degree in clinical psychology when she graduates next year.
